Details, details.

We've been slacking on the blogging lately. What that means though, is we're getting things done. From here on in, it's details details and hey, more details! Many shopping trips and lists and crafts and browsing is being done.

Yesterday we spent two and a half hours at Costco. On a Saturday. It was pretty nuts! Thankfully, no one was grumpy and my mom was a pretty good help in estimating amounts of things.

Well, in planning a wedding, one of the biggest pieces of advice I'd been given was to expect things to go wrong. So, it seems that is the case for our dinner wine. Jesse & I thought it would be cool to make our own wine for the reception. Not only would we save money, but it helped us be more hands on, and my brother Tom and his wife Mandy designed some cute little labels that match our invites for the bottles. After 3 months of waiting, we decided maybe we should try it out. The white, well, it's white. Not too bad; neither of us are too concerned. Unfortunately however, our red wine is pretty disappointing. It's certainly drinkable, but it's lacking depth. Umph, if you will. So, if you're coming to our wedding, don't fret, just drink! We'll be serving up the better wine once the home brew is all used up. Think "wedding at Cana". It's biblical!

That's it for now. Jesse's out with boys doing bachelor party things, hopefully getting humiliated, although I highly doubt that's Mark's style. I have to remove myself from the apartment in a few hours when the party comes back to our place. Mark shouldn't have left wine on the table and brie in the fridge. It's extremely tempting!
