The wedding is in four days. My sister from Newfoundland and brother and sister-in-law from Vancouver arrived today. My (Kat's) mom made us a boxing day dinner. 'Twas nice to spend the evening relaxing after a busy couple of hours in consumer city.
Jesse and I had to brave the terribly crowded mall as we hunted for a shirt for him for the wedding. No boxing day sales for us, but that wasn't our intention. We'd only just realized we needed to get him one. Neither of us love shopping and it seems we picked the worst day for it. Anyway, we found him a great shirt and all is well.
I'm writing in the midst of this busy time only because I can't sleep. I've been having trouble falling asleep and waking up at ridiculous o-clock, unable to get back to sleep. While I'm excited as anything for this wedding and to be marrying Jesse, all the build up of the big day seems to be controlling my subconscious. I think I'd take the bad dreams about hair do's gone wrong and everything falling apart on Friday over the lack of sleep!! I hear it's normal? I look like a tired poop so I'm hoping and praying I can get some sleep this week.
Ahwell. There's always the honeymoon for sleep, right?
